Public versus invite-only events
Make discoverable controls whether an event can appear in Discover.
How to do it
- Choose public/discoverable when anyone should be able to find the listing.
- Choose invite-only for selected people or groups. Check the recipients before saving.
- Public events can have a read-only share preview outside the signed-in app.
- A link alone does not grant access to an invite-only event. Changing visibility cannot recall information or images someone already saved.

The event reaches the audience you intended.

Profile visibility and event visibility are separate. A private profile does not make a public event private.
